Textualism at its finest

"It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is. If the – if he – if 'is' means is and never has been that is not – that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement."

- President William Jefferson Clinton

Grand Jury Testimony, August 17, 1998

Attn: Dean Johnson

It's not too late to shuffle around the 1Ls' schedules. Give them some 3:30s and 4:40s to relieve the parking nightmare. Or at least work with SBA to get some sort of ride-sharing set up. Plenty of people live right next to each other and have classes at the same time. Incentivize it if you have to - I'm sure the school can afford to give out $10 gas cards once a semester to carpools.

Just do something.

Parking

A few items:

1) 1Ls should be forced to carpool.
2) MerPo should MerTow any SUV-driving a-hole who takes up two spaces.
3) Does the Med School lab really need those reserved spaces? Are they ever occupied?
4) How about buying out that nasty lawn behind that nasty white house and paving it?
5) Tell Ms. Buafo to park her Hummer and the rest of her fleet somewhere else.

Party Etiquette

To the 1Ls (and to anyone else who has not yet figured this out):

If you're high on something, just don't go to a party where everyone else isn't.

Brother, can you spare a dime?

Why is it now $1.10 from the vending machine to get a bottle of soda? Who carries around dimes?

There's no way they need that extra money.

Lower the price back to $1!!!!

Crossing Over

Much like that new teen horror movie, I too am now using the internet to communicate from the Beyond.

They say dead men tell no secrets, but I'm here to change that.

You can expect a candid, frank discussion of all things Mercer Law on this blog.
